FLAG ROOKIE TACKLE 11- PLAYER TACKLE Fosters Participation Allows leagues with limited registered players to field more teams. Smaller Fields Fields are scaled down to create an appropriate playing space for the age and abilities of younger athletes. Players Rotate Positions Players can experience multiple positions and learn new skills by rotating play on offense and defense. Maximize Field Space Leagues can utilize field space more efficiently. Increased Activity Rookie Tackle allows for a greater coach-to-player ratio, fostering individual attention and skill development from coaches. Smaller Rosters Rookie Tackle allows for a greater coach-to-player ratio, fostering individual attention and skill development from coaches. USA Football's Rookie Tackle is part of USA Football's adoption of the United States Olympic Committee's American Development Model (ADM). ADM serves as a framework for long-term athlete development to help advance the sport into the future. Rookie Tackle was created with input from youth football leaders throughout the United States, who have modified rules of the game based on player development.
